‘After finding a pearl necklace on the beach one day, Princess Aliya asked her friends if any of them had lost a necklace.
When both Hafsa and Salma said they have lost a pearl necklace that day, Princess Aliya and the other friends were shocked and confused. Princess Aliya wanted to do the right thing, but didn’t know what to do, until the truth came out!’
The Princess series teaches children the 99 names of Allah ‘Asma ul Husna’ through creative stories. In each story the princess is faced with a challenge which brings out her true character – emphasising the meaning of her name.
My two year old who has just turned three, loves these books with the beautiful coloured illustrations. The earlier books were just about easy to understand especially for young toddlers. The two newer books including 'Princess Aliya and the Pearl necklace' are abit more difficult to understand for my three year old as she is not able to understand idea of lying to someone. She just loves these books however and she gets to learn names of Allah and their meaning.
